On December 2, 2017 the Order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs as of October 20, 2017 № 800 on approval of the Administrative Regulations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the state service for processing of patents to foreign citizens for work in Russia will come into force.
The Administrative Regulations of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs replaces the previous similar Administrative Regulations of the Federal Migration Service. Immediate provision of public services is provided by the migration branches of territorial bodies of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs. The terms of submission of documents have been retained. No significant changes were made.
The name of the state service has been changed: the phrase "for carrying out labor activity in the territory of the Russian Federation" has been added to the phrase "registration and issuance of patents to foreign citizens". The list of results of the state service includes the cancellation of the patent (paragraph 21 of the Administrative Regulations). In the annex, the Ministry of Internal Affairs also approved a flowchart of the sequence of actions for provision of state services. Also in the annexes there is a form of a certificate of acceptance of documents, a sample of the case log, a sample of the notice of refusal of processing of a patent, a sample of the register of acceptance of applications and the issuance of patents.
