In accordance with the order, a foreign citizen or stateless person, in relation to whom the expulsion regime is applied, must personally inform the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia at the regional or district level at the place of residence/stay or actual location or via State Services:
• about their location;
• about the occurrence of circumstances that prevent timely independent departure from Russia;
• about the date, place and route of the planned independent departure from Russia.
If it is impossible to appear in person, the controlled person must inform the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia by sending information with a photograph with a geolocation mark via State Services. Information about yourself must be sent every 7 calendar days until departure from Russia.
The order comes into force on February 5, 2025.
