It will be possible to pass fingerprinting at passport and visa centers (PVS), including in new regions of Russia
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia has prepared a
draft order, which expands the geography of the activities of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise passport and visa center of Russia.Passport and Visa Center assists the Ministry of Internal Affairs in carrying out the mandatory state fingerprint registration of foreign citizens and stateless persons who arrived in Russia for purposes not related to the implementation of labor activities for a period exceeding 90 calendar days, or for the purpose of carrying out labor activities, and photographing them, as well as in the reception and transfer to the territorial body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of medical documents confirming the passage of the specified foreign citizens and stateless persons of a medical examination.
Order No. 857 of November 9, 2021 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs approved a list of such subjects of the Federation, as we wrote about earlier.
The draft new order adds to this list:
- Donetsk People's Republic
- Lugansk People's Republic
- Zaporozhye region
- Kherson region
- Kursk region
- Belgorod region
- Volgograd region
- Kabardino-Balkarian Republic
- Republic of Karelia
The expansion of geography is connected, apparently, with the fact that an influx of migration and labor force is expected to new regions of the Russian Federation, including from abroad, including from Ukraine.
