In 2025, the cost of a patent for foreign citizens will increase by 20% and will amount to 8,900 rubles.This was announced by the mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, in his interview with TASS.
The purpose of such an increase in cost, according to the mayor, is to equalize the tax burden on migrants and Russian citizens.
The regulatory legal act establishing the amount of the advance payment for the patent has not yet been published.
We remind you that the Federal Tax Service in Letter No. GD-4-11/926@ dated January 22, 2018, reported that if a foreign citizen paid for a patent at the current year's price before the beginning of the new year, then there is no need to pay the difference.
