A resolution on the procedure for publishing information about foreign citizens in the register of persons subject to expulsion from Russia has been published
The
Resolution of the Government of Russia dated 06.12.2024 No. 1732 "On approval of the Rules for posting information about a foreign citizen or stateless person contained in the register of controlled persons, including the composition of the information posted, on the Internet" has been published. This resolution approves the rules for posting information about foreign citizens on the Internet that will be contained in the created register of controlled persons.This resolution was issued in order to implement Federal Law No. 260-FZ dated 08.08.2024, which comes into force on 05.02.2025, for more details, see our news.
From February 5, 2025, provisions of the law will come into force in Russia, according to which foreign citizens who were in Russia without legal grounds and did not leave the country, or did not legalize their stay in Russia, will be entered into the register of controlled persons and expelled from the country (read more in our news).
The register of controlled persons will be maintained by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Access to this register will be provided upon request to the register operator (the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia). The register will be maintained in accordance with Federal Law 152-FZ "On Personal Data".
The rules come into force simultaneously with the law, that is, on February 5, 2025.
