Citizens of Ukraine will be able to receive a residence permit in a simplified manner
In continuation of our news, a draft law on amendments to the Federal Law of February 19, 1993 N 4528-1 "On Refugees" and the Federal Law "On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation" of July 25, 2002 N 115-FZ was submitted to the State Duma of the Russian Federation. According to this bill, all terms for consideration of applications of Ukrainian citizens-refugees will be reduced, granting them refugee status will be carried out according to an accelerated procedure.
In addition, persons who have received temporary asylum will have the right to apply for a residence permit without the requirement to confirm their financial status and are exempted from confirming their knowledge of the Russian language, knowledge of the history of the Russian Federation and the fundamentals of the legislation of the Russian Federation.
